Many people believe that stretching before a workout can help prevent injuries. This is not the case, according to science. Very small data exists to support this opinion. Stretching, in certain cases can, increase injury risk & more than likely it can impair performance when done before a workout. If you’re looking for good warm-ups try, dynamic movements like jogging, plyometrics, or any other form light exercise that gets a little sweat going. If you really like to stretch, do it after your workout.
