“I started personal training with Ryan Achenbach at the Gym that’s open 24 hours in Clackamas at the end of July. The results are phenomenal. I have never weight trained before but have done everything else, i.e., running, step class, spinning. The results I have achieved are the quickest and the best results I have ever seen. My main goal was to firm and tone my arms. As I have gotten older, my arms became saggy and wrinkled. This summer, I could not buy a lot of clothes I wanted to wear because my arms looked terrible. I really didn’t expect to be able to do anything with them. I explained to Ryan what my goal was and he really listened. I am no longer ashamed of my arms and I actually think they look really good now. Ryan is fantastic. He carefully explains every exercise in detail so that you understand the correct form. He watches as I do the various exercises and points out when my form is wrong. You can tell the difference once he points it out. He makes sure I am getting the most out of every exercise that I do so I am not in there wasting my time. My goal was to firm up my arms but my entire body has changed. I was afraid, like most women, that my thighs would get bulky and look fat but my entire body has toned and slimmed down. I didn’t have any weight to lose so I have not been on a diet. Just by training with Ryan, I went from a size 4 pant to a size 0. I have only lost 2 pounds but I have lost tons of inches. The wool pants in my closet that were tight on my thighs are now huge. I can’t wear them. Ryan is not only great at his job but he is fun to work out with. I intended to only do 1 set of 12, 50 minute training sessions but I am now on my third set and plan to keep going. It is worth every penny. I feel and look better than I have in years. I thought to myself the other day, Ryan really should move to Los Angeles and become a trainer to the stars. I feel lucky to have him. If you are thinking about doing something for yourself and want to get into the best shape of your life, sign up with Ryan. You really won’t regret it. As you can see, I don’t write reviews because typically I am never satisfied. So, if I write a review, it really means something. It takes a lot for me to make a recommendation.”
